Appoligies to the moms & other that dislike the F bomb….but I’m angry, and people should learn how to drive in the snow. We live in MI afterall!
So, not your average day in West Michigan…..it’s April, and it’s fucking snowing! It’s supposed to be spring! Clare & I went to playgroup this morning, had a great time. She played wonderfully, I chatted with the other mom’s….it was a nice break to get out after all that had happened with Brad. We came home, fed Clare lunch, and while she was eating I pulled out all the snow stuff from the closet. We got in the car, and headed to school in the snow. I left with pleanty of time, as the roads were quite covered, and I didn’t want to rush just to get her there on time. As I pulled up to the school parking lot there was a van in the ditch. I slowed down to turn left into the parking lot, turned my blinker on, and waited as the oncoming traffic cleared. I thought about offering him help, as he didn’t look too good (almost kinda drunk). All of a sudden a brown SUV (Stupid User in the Snow Vehicle) comes around the drivers side of my car hits my side panel, and then side swipes a car in oncoming traffic. Cuss words flew out of my mouth, I pulled over, got out, looked at the car, then noticed Clare was crying. She had hurt her elbow pretty badly in the impact, but not a necessity to go to the hospital. The SUV had totally driven into the side of the car though and it looked pretty bad. The cops & fire dept. showed up, took my statement and sent me on my merry way. Brad came because I wanted him to look at my car as the hit was right above the wheel well in the back. So, I’ve filed a claim with the good ole’ insurance company. I’ll have to pay for a rental though, which I may do for the weekend….as I DO NOT want to miss Hello Dave! That and Brad’s cousin is having a birthday party for her daughter earlier Saturday afternoon, and Sunday we were supposed to celebrate Brad’s mom’s birthday. So….the retard that didn’t pay attention in the snow has reeked havock on my weeks plans! I just hope that my car can be fixed soon, because I don’t want to live without it for too long. Why can’t I have a nice car for once! People Suck is all I have to say. Pay attention when it’s snowing, and watch the road….not your cell, the radio, or anything else. And drive slow…..it never fails me, if you drive like a fuck nob in the snow you WILL cause an accident at some point in your life. GOD I NEED to get out of MI to a warmer state!
