Current Mood: Confused

So the chimney folks were all a bust. They all want money to come out and look at it, none of them will do the shingle repair that needs to be done, and they all want money for estimates. Oh… yeah… and the soonest any of them can make it is oct 17.

I had e-mailed a local home repair place with the specifics of the problem, based on what the first guy told me and what the roofer confirmed for me yesterday. They got back with me with an estimate that isn’t going to kill me, so I’ve setup for them to come fix -everything-.

We’re back on track now, it seems. We should have a repair in the next 10 days if they are to be believed. Only time will tell, and I’m not being very optimistic.
