It’s finally feeling like Fall around here. The days are getting shorter, and it’s much cooler….the way I like it! It’s been a while since I’ve written last….been pretty much the same around here for the past month. Let’s see, since I’ve last blogged Clare has finally turned 4! We celebrated with a small party at home the Sunday before with the grandparents, and then the day after her birthday we had a party at Chuck E Cheese with some of her girl friends. Clare was very specific this year, she only wanted girls….as she doesn’t like boys right now, and they ruin things according to her. She had a blast with her friends Anya, Gwen, and Kathleen. Clare has also picked-up on her bike riding skills, and loves to ride her bike now. About 2 months ago you had to put her on it kicking and screaming! Now, you can’t get her off of it. We also had a yard sale Labor Day Weekend to raise money for our drinking funds
We actually made quite a bit of money, and got rid of a bunch of stuff! I did have to take a large carload to Goodwill when it was all said and done, but oh well….I didn’t expect to sell everything. I still have a few things to take over there, but nothing major. This weekend we are headed to Paw Paw, MI for some Wine Festival Fun! This is our 3rd or 4th year going, and it’s turned into quite an event. Last year we had my parents, Meghan’s parents, Larry & Meghan, Brad’s parent’s, and some of their friends come. It was quite the ordeal. This year I think it’s just the parents, and we might meet up with some of our friends for a drink under St. Julian’s tent in the afternoon. Should be fun none the less, as we are camping this year, so we get to continue drinking with the parents while Clare sleeps away in the camper. Moonshadow is being kenneled, and we are off for some fun. And then on Monday it’s off on our new schedule, as Clare begins preschool 3 afternoons during the week. I am VERRRRYYYY Excited about that! I have no clue what I’ll do for 7 hours a week, but I’m sure I’ll find something.
